I bought a Model GY-1 active contact speaker from Japan will it work in the USA?

The speaker system is like a speaker for an ipod its small and it looked good due to its unusual shape, so without thinking I purchased it not realising the differences in voltage. I guess the USA supports 120V while Japan is only 100V. Please help?
